"My great thought in loving is himself. If all else perished, and he remained, I should still continue to be; and if all else remained, and he were annihilated, the universe would turn to a mighty stranger: I should not seem of it...Nelly, I am Heathcliff! He's always, always in my mind: not as a pleasure, anymore than I am always a pleasure to myself, but as my own being."

Death and Resurrection of Love

Well, five days isn’t too bad I suppose. But I fear the worst is not yet over, Zillah apparently released Nelly from her chamber and informed her of the union between Linton and Catherine. Linton is ecstatic about it though. He dies, don’t worry…loser. But not before Edgar dies, and gets to be buried next to Catherine. Awe, how sweet!

Heathcliff, being the creeper that he is though, disturbed Catherine to stare at her dead body! EW! And now is claiming he will be buried next to her. It shocked me to see that once Linton died, Hareton and Cathy began to get closer, and closer, especially after they exchange books, and Cathy promises to educate him.

It’s sad that Mr. Lockwood, our narrator, leaves The Grange but it's okay, he returns six months later to find Nelly living at Wuthering Heights again and Heathcliff dead.

I can’t believe Cathy and Hareton are to wed on New Year’s Day and to live in Thrushcross Grange whilst Joseph and a servant boy will occupy and care for Wuthering Heights, you would think they’d stay there.
